Only 4 kilometers out of the city, Lisbon Airport caters to flights spanning the globe. Once you land in Lisbon, it is approximately a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport to the center of the city. Another cost-efficient option would be the convenient Air Bus shuttle that travels from the airport to the city numerous times in a day.

Carris is Lisbon’s official bus company and offers several rides throughout the day, around the city and surrounding areas, at the most affordable rates in Europe. The buses (Autocarros) and trains (eléctricos) all have stops that are clearly marked throughout the city - equipped with city maps of Lisbon’s entire public transit operation. In Lisbon you have a choice between several different types of tourist travel passes, such as the popular 1, 2 & 3-day Lisboa Cards which include free admission to 27 museums and monuments.
